Our very first outing

Before we were even called "Morro 16" we had our first outing as a samba group to the Brazil Ireland football match in Croke Park on 6th Feb, 2008.  Sadly Ireland lost the football but it was the start of something special from a samba point of view as the musicians on that day went on to form Morro 16.

The name "Morro 16" was inspired by the famous "Hill 16" terrace at Croke Park.
This fuzzy photo is the only record we have of that first outing!!!
